Parent Teacher Conference

Stevie @ 1 week

Stevie @ 4 years

I had my second parent teacher conference.  I can not believe how big Stevie is getting.  He is such a little man and it is so bitter sweet.  Ms. Lisa says he has grown so much in the last few months.  He is getting better at using his words instead of his hands.  He is writing the first part of his name...S, T, and starting on E.  He learned colors and shapes at the beginning of the year and now his counting skills are increasing.  Next year we will start him in the reading program so he can grow even more.  I miss my sweet little baby, but now I have such a strong young man.  I am so glad to watch him and be his mommy.

Birthday Party

Stevie and the birthday cake.
Stevie finally got to have his birthday party at Grandma's house.  He didn't even mind sharing with Ms. Emma.  He has been insisting that we do not celebrate his birthday until we got to Grandma's.  He wouldn't even let us make a cake on his actual birthday because he wanted the Mickey Mouse cake.

Happy Birthday Stevie and Emma.

Oh Baby!

My little baby is 6 weeks.  Where did the time go?  Little Ben is smiling and starting to stay away more.  He rolled over a couple of times last week.  I know it was an accident because the poor kid doesn't like tummy time, but he still did it.  Stevie and Abbie are proud siblings and sometime a little too helpful.  I am thankful they love their brother so much, I just wish they weren't so enthusiastic.  Ben is going to need to learn to fight back and soon if he wants to survive.

We did his dedication at church today.  I feel truly blessed for all my babies. They are growing so fast.

Halloween

Halloween time is here once again.  The kids had a blast trick-or-treating.  My cute little people.  Even Ben went with us, and slept until half way. We had batman and super dancing monkey (Abbie wanted to wear everything). Little Bennie bear was a bear of course.

Carving Pumpkins

We love when it is time to carve pumpkins.  It is always a family affair.  The kids are starting to appreciate the art of eating pumpkin seeds, but Stevie is not a big fan of scooping out the pumpkin guts.  I could not get him to participate for the longest time.

Abbie, on the other hand, had no issues.  She was diving right into that pumpkin and making a big mess.

Even Ben got in on the action as best as he could.

I think the favorite part is painting the pumpkins once we carve them.  I think the kids have more fun painting than anything.  We started to paint when Stevie was little because I didn't want to worry about the knives and the painting has stuck as the kids have grown up.

First Snow of the Year

Ready to get outside
Yummy!
We had our first snow and Stevie and Abbie were asking all day to go outside.  When it finally warmed up enough (whatever is warm enough since it was still a snowy day) I finally agreed.  We got all of our snow gear on to make the trek outside.  I don't think Abbie got too much time outside last year since she was still so young, but she had a blast once we got her gloves to stay on.  We just love the snow!
